The wonderful city by the Rio Grand who control the waters of the river to flow down to Gulf Of Mexico are
in the process of looking to see if they can bring or land a professional baseball team to play in glorious
Del Rio, Texas.
Could we see the Broncos baseball team move up the river to Del Rio in the near future? That would be
good would it not? The Del Rio Broncos sounds good when you say it three times in a row.. If it happens
with the new professional baseball team the Ventura group is to bring to Laredo we could see the new
Laredo team play the Del Rio Broncos. This could be a rival in the making for sure. The fans will get into it
big time. For sure the Broncos would love to come to Laredo and whip on our new team. RIVALS in the
making "YEE HAW" wait in Laredo it would el GRITO. AAAHUUUAH !
It would be great seeing the diehard Laredo Bronco fans come to the game in their Bronco caps and
Bronco shirts. They would be against their own home town Ventrura baseball team. Diehard fans you got
to love them. It could happen sooner than expected. The Broncos already have a team organization all
they have to do is move the trailer office up Hwy 83 and vamonos they are there in Del Rio in a few hours.
Maybe then the Broncos would have more sales at the gate in Laredo finally. But they will do it as a
visiting team. It could happen. Of course it would take a few series to get the Del Rio Broncos used to the
new modern baseball stadium that would be in place then. How many of the current players the Broncos
have now would be around in three years or so? Maybe one will be around let’s say Jose Canseco as the
manager. That would sell tickets. Ok a few hundred tickets only let’s be realistic.
This could happen let's hope so just because we know how much the Broncos want to play in Laredo
would make it a great a thing don't you think so? Let's dream for a bit will we.
