Meet Director Tito Garcia ran the smoothest track event in recent
history for the Border Olympics. Speaking with Tito he said "this has
been the smoothest event we had no major issues besides the
weather on Saturday morning before the competition started we
had no break downs." Indeed this event ran without major events.
Besides one or two athletes misplacing their assigned BIBs with a number assigned to the
athlete and one or two disqualifications on relays this was a great event with so many
athletes and all of it was handled by the volunteers of Border Olympics.  Here are the stories
on how the track meet went from start to finish. An on going story as we write the next
several  hours on things that happened on the 2011 Border Olympics Track & Field
Championships in Laredo , TX .
