The Alexander Bulldogs proved they
are the # One Team to beat in District
29 5 A with a convincing win over Alice.
The  Alice Jinks is over which had
stretched  over several seasons. They
whipped  Alice, 41-37, in Alice. Junior
QB Brian Swain completed 29-of-41
passes for 4 TDs and had  3 picks all
three were in the first  half and were at
the Coyotes 20 yard line or closer.

The middle of the 3rd quarter it clicked
on both the offensive side and the
defensive side as we expected it
would. It just took three and half
quarters for Alexander to flex it's power
and might in a big way.

ON the night Daniel Ramos had 2  TDs
from Swain Running back / everything .
Xavier Skaggs had one TD rushing
and Bobby Bowen had a TD as well
rushing

As expected R.J. Aguero came through
as a senior should and had 109
receiving yards and one TD pass from
Brian Swain. The mighty  Bulldogs
chalked up  489 yards of total offense.

With one minute left in the game ALice
starts the drive from the 30 to the 10
yard and the Bulldogs held with no
time left. But being in Alice the refs
stopped the game from ending with no
time left and gave the Coyotes 2
second to finish the game. But
Alexander stopped them again.

Coach Lopez in the end could not
challenge or complain since he had
already been flagged by the refs
during the game.

IN this game the Bulldog defense was
not clicking until the Bulldogs
recovered a fumble in teh second
quarter and started to turn things
around.

A high scoring game and Alexander
pulled it off . They will have to work on
their defense to make a statement in
distirct.

A win is a win and the Bulldogs are
heading home eliminating the Alice
jinks and along the way perhaps
Alexander grew enough with this type
of game to make a run for the district.
I am sure Del Rio , Eagle Pass, Laredo
United Longhorns and Laredo Nixon
have a thing or two too say about it.

IT's a win and the Bulldogs remain
Ranked # 1 as we had them there
since July.
